This is an extra special hunt for all of us here at Adrenaline Outdoors Productions. Shea has a rare form of muscular Dystrophy and still handled the cold and wind like a champ! We set up in a box blind over standing corn and out stepped the buck we call Ol' Timer. We killed him one year too late considering he lost substantial tine length from last year. But, he is a true trophy because of his age. Also, Shea dropped the hammer on a big ol' doe the very last evening of our gun season. It was an absolute privilege and a true honor to hunt with Shea. Good shootin' TEX!
This is a very special deer to me its my first off my own farm (I have passed a lot of stud 3 year olds over the years, and missed a stud 6 year old we called Brows) and I shot this buck with a gun I won at my uncle Dale's benefit a couple years ago. My Uncle passed from cancer, he was a great guy that loved the outdoors. I don't do much gun hunting but wanted to take a good buck with this gun and they don't get much better than this one. Another cool thing about this buck is that 95% of his score comes from his 8pt frame he only has 4" of G4's.

Old buck not doubt... Ellington thinks 6 yrs plus, either going down hill or just never had much... maybe a lil bit of both im guessing if he is as old as he thinks.
This is one of those hunts where we are in lockdown just hoping to catch a lone buck cruising for a hot doe. We spotted him working his way along a creek, called to him twice, and here he came right under us! Everything came together like it was supposed to... first time for everything!

Been watching your show this year and love it. Its awesome you got your start by talking to David Blanton.
I wish I lived in another state so i could do video. Its Extremely hard to get good bucks killed on film in NH. I come to Illinois every fall and see more big bucks in two weeks than I do in two years here. You are fortunate to live in a great deer state.
